What Vitamins Should You Be Taking?

According to the The National Institutes of Health, Office of Dietary Supplements, the majority of adults in the United States take one or more dietary supplements either every day or occasionally. If you don't eat a nutritious variety of foods, some supplements might help you get adequate amounts of essential nutrients. However, supplements can't take the place of the variety of foods that are important to a healthy diet. Listen as Jessica Heckman, MD, family practice doctor at Family Medicine of Lincoln, part of Bryan Physician Network, clears up the confusion surrounding vitamins and supplements, and helps you decide which ones are more important for your healthier lifestyle.
