Natural Therapies for Alopecia Areata
Alopecia areata is a systemic autoimmune condition that causes circular patches of hair loss and can progress to alopecia totalis and universalis for some people.
I suffered from alopecia areata for 25 years, and it was only after working on my health holistically that I was able to regrow my hair for the long term and I have now been symptom-free for over 8 years.
In today's episode, I share my own journey of reversing symptoms of alopecia areata.
Highlights from today's episode include:
- The trigger and the contributing factors which can lead to hair loss.
- How a change in dietary habits can be transformational for hair growth.
- Stress management and the effect of adverse childhood experiencing.
- Taking a personalised approach to hair growth.
