Teresa Bell, LVN, BSHS, oncology navigator at Northern Inyo Healthcare District, explains how she helps patients understand referrals, connect with oncology specialists and coordinate care beyond the Eastern Sierra. Patient navigation is one way NIHD is improving access to care while helping patients and families feel supported close to home.
