201: Thoughts From the Lyme Boss Part 1 with Heather Gray

I am excited to have Heather Gray, The Renegade Health Boss, joining me for a two-part series.
Heather has weathered countless trials. Today, in Part 1, she shares her story openly and honestly and offers tips to help listeners who have experienced childhood trauma, autoimmune diseases, Lyme, and mold.
The Benefits of Laughter for Healing:

Lowers cortisol: Laughter helps reduce the levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being.

Increases good hormones: It boosts the production of endorphins and dopamine, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals, enhancing mood and reducing pain.

Decreases inflammation: Regular laughter can lower inflammation in the body, which is often linked to chronic diseases and various health conditions.

Keeps people present: Laughter encourages mindfulness by keeping people engaged in the present moment, fostering a deeper connection with themselves and others.

Helps people focus on positive outcomes: It shifts attention from negative thoughts to positive possibilities, promoting a more optimistic outlook on life.

As the Lyme Boss and a comedian, she offers insightful tips on incorporating laughter into daily life. Her advice emphasizes the healing power of humor, making it an accessible and enjoyable tool for improving health and well-being.
