15: Finding Your Village

When Bailee and Caleb Cabrera’s son, Julian, needed help because of cerebral palsy, they weren’t always sure where to turn. What they found was a community willing to step in and help them find their way. Bailee shares Julian’s story and how Stillwater Pediatrics, Healthy Steps and Karman Korner came together to help their family get the resources he needed, including leg braces that made a difference in his everyday life. She also talks about what it means to have someone else take some of the weight off your shoulders when you’re already carrying so much.
